Join Us for Cougar Jazz Night in Seattle!

We look forward to seeing our friends and alumni in Seattle Thursday, September 6, for a game-week concert by Jazz Northwest, WSU's premier faculty jazz ensemble. The concert will be held at jazz hotspot Tula's in Belltown, and proceeds from the event benefit the Dean's Excellence Fund.

The faculty members of Jazz Northwest have played with many of the best jazz performers in the world, including Lionel Hampton, Clark Terry, McCoy Tyner, Abdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand), Randy Brecker, Bill Watrous, and Bobby Shew.

Jazz Northwest plays a unique mixture of original compositions and distinctive arrangements of classic jazz standards. The Jazz Northwest faculty are locally based and globally known.
