Massage therapy is just not for the rich and pampered. In today's fast-paced, high stress environment, stopping to take a break is healthy. Massage therapy is an affordable, alternative, healthy service that has many benefits.
Massage therapy has been shown to be effective in:
-
Soothing chronic back pain better than other complementary therapies.
-
Boosting the body's immune system functioning.
-
Decreasing the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.
-
Reducing anxiety and lowering blood pressure in stroke patients.
-
Easing post-operative pain.
-
Reducing headache frequency.
-
Increasing mental clarity.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Take time for yourself now to prevent future problems.
