Winter weather got you
down? Tired of the
snow, ice and slush?
Just think…in a few
short months, it will be
summer and at University
Recreation, we could not be
more excited. Our youth
programs staff is preparing
for the summer sunshine and
creating a schedule that is
going to make Cougar Kids
Camp 2008 one of our most fun
summers yet.
Cougar Kids Camp is
University Recreation’s
eight-week summer day camp
for children entering grades
1-7. Each week campers
will have the opportunity to
go swimming, rock climbing,
play sports and participate
in activities centered on the
camp’s weekly
themes.
We are excited to be adding
five new weekly themes to our
usual line-up of favorite
weeks. We will kick off
the camp season with Summer
Fiesta Week (June 16-20),
celebrate the great outdoors
during EcoAdventures Week
(June 23-27), head for the
hills – Hollywood
Hills, that is, during
Lights, Camera, Action Week
(July 21-25), be
kickin’ it old school
during Blast from the Past
Week (July 28-August 1) and
finish our summer going for
the gold during Week of the
Olympians (August 4-8).
For more information about
these weeks or our other camp
activities, please visit our
website at

Registration for Cougar Kids
Camp 2008 will open March 1
on-line or in person at the
Student Recreation Center.
