NPHC Informational Event: Now Is The Time!
Hello All!
As a new staff member for the Center
for Fraternity and Sorority Life, I
am excited to have the opportunity to
work with our historically
African-American fraternities and
sororities at Washington State
University. As a
member of a chapter that once
struggled with membership, I
understand first-hand the importance
of unity, quality programming, and
leadership development that promotes
the NPHC chapters on campus. I hope
to positively pass on my experiences
to the student leaders at Washington
State University.
September 24th through the
27th marked this
year’s NPHC Week. This
week celebrated the unity between all
the historically African-American
fraternities and sororities on
campus. Among these events was the
bi-annual Now Is the Time
informational. Students, affiliated
faculty and staff, and chapter
advisors were able to share the
history of their respective
organizations, while outlining
important information for interested
students.
Many students attended this event and
received valuable information
regarding each organization. We are
definitely looking forward to a
productive and growing year!
Respectfully,
